The Starlight White Tetras are ideal companion fish. While they don’t flouresce under blue lighting, their gentle nature and shimmering white bodies make them a perfect balance to your brighter GloFish live fish.
This collection is great for both new and experienced hobbyists. The fish are peaceful, community-friendly, and easy to care for—making them a great way to build or expand your aquarium.
Set-Up Your Tank
- Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
- Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
- Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!
Add Your Fish
- Follow this acclimation guide to make sure they adjust to their new home.
Feed Your Fish
- Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
- Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
- GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
- Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.

Unauthorized production, distribution, intentional breeding, and sales or trades of GloFish® fish offspring are strictly prohibited without proper FDA approvals.

Temperature Delays: Fish are sensitive to high and low temperatures. To ensure your fish make the journey safely, we reserve the right to hold orders until the temperatures are safe for their arrival. This generally means no overnight temps of less than 32°F (40°F for barbs).
