The GloFish® Starfire Red® Angelfish is a captivating and vibrant choice for any aquarium enthusiast. With care requirements identical to their wild-type counterparts, these striking fish are both beautiful and easy to maintain. One of the remarkable features of the GloFish® Starfire Red® Angelfish is their rapid growth. Under proper care and a nutritious feeding regimen, these fish can reach full maturity within six months to one year. As they grow, you’ll have the rewarding experience of watching them develop and display their brilliant colors.

Additionally, as they mature, these angelfish may exhibit extra markings, such as dark patches, marbling, or speckles, similar to their wild relatives. This unique touch adds even more appeal to their already stunning appearance.

Set-Up Your Tank

• Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
• Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
• Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!

Add Your Fish

• Follow this acclimation guide to make sure they adjust to their new home.

Feed Your Fish

• Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
• Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
• GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
• Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.

Temperature Delays: Fish are sensitive to high and low temperatures. To ensure your fish make the journey safely, we reserve the right to hold orders until the temperatures are safe for their arrival. This generally means no overnight temps of less than 32°F (40°F for barbs).
